As an alteration in 'holy' Marilyn Monroe at The New Church in Amsterdam. Holland.

She was Marilyn Monroe that as an alteration in 'holy' Marilyn found her place at  De Nieuwe Kerk's exhibition ' Happy Birthday Marilyn' in Amsterdam

considered a culture icon, lost her mother-that was admitted to psychiatric institution-  spent most of her childhood in children's homes and with forest families, struggled with addiction, depression and anxity, with two marriages - Joe Di Maggio baseball player and Arthur Miller famous playwrighter- Monroe who was one of the most remakable Hollywood's stars, after two divorses died in loneliness in 1962 from overdose of barbiturates.

Albeit her death characterized (a probably suicide)exist still several conspiracy theories with disputable explanations..
More than 250 pieces from Marilyn's personal possessions that exhibit  at The New Church- Dam square-in Amsterdam circumscribe her private life, creative and fiercely ambitious of her personality but most of all her determination to make a career based on own perfectly willing.
As a Nieuwe Kerk's experts explained during the press conference about Marilyn's dresses, objects and 'dreams'- like her ambitiously plan to be a star ' I'm going to be a great movie star some day'-,

and lots others which depict her ' difficult childhood to happy and passionate periods, but also the downsides of stardom until her shocking death in 1962..' at her first own house which she had just bought in Brentwood,California. After living at over fifty address Marilyn now had a home of her own.                                                 Home.

In 1946 she adopted 'Marilyn Monroe' as her artist name, divorsed her husband Jim who was not agreed with her ambitions for film career, she took acting and diction lessons and studied the films of Jean Harlow and Lana Turner, and signed het first contact at 20th Century Fox. 
She acted in a number of plays and in 1948 autitioned for the film'Ladies of the Chorous'. 
 Monroe attracted attention especially at the Photoplay awards in January 1953. She won the ' Fastest Rising Star' award and the film 'Niagara' made her a sex symbol established her image and look.From the other side the satirical musical comedy 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes', established her screen persona as a ' dumb blone'.

for dansing classes in the film Bus Stop and for photo shoots with Ben Ross and with Alfrend Eisenstaedt for Life Magazine in 1953.
Her famous dress film costume for 'The seven Year itch.' Designed by William Travilla 1954, worldwide wellknown dress from Marilyn's scene on the subway grating.Ted Stampfer has managed to obtain the dress on loan for the exhibition at ' De Nieuwe Kerk', as an exclusive gesture to mark the 90th anniversary of Marilyn's birth.

1954.Marriage with J.Dimaggio for the second time. Divorce after only nine months of marriage.Marilyn started her own production company in New York.
1959.Some like it Hot. Marilyn's most successful movie for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role-Musical or Comedy.

                                                    1961. Divorce from Miller.
Her releationship with Miller propted some negatives comments from the press like'..American's best known blonde moving picture star is now the darling of the left-wing intelligentsia...'

    Marilyn tried again to be in contact with Joe DiMaggio.
1962. Golden Globe Award for World Film Favorite:Femele 1961.She sings her famous Happy Birthday at President John F.Kennedy's birthday celebration at Madison Square Garden New York.
                         Marilyn Monroe died in the night of 4 to 5 August 1962. 
                         On 8 August she is buried in Westwood Memorial Park.

Marc Chagall's Calvary in The Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam

Marc Chagall's masterpiece 'Calvery',1912 is a depiction of his super reality, alogical, and  irrational imagination as Guillaume Apollinaire refer to him as a ' surrealist' and as Andre Breton call also him the 'Pope of Surrealism'.

Frans' Post 34 unknown drawings at The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. The Netherlands.

Spectacular discovery of 17th century Golden Age the drawings by Frans Post(1612-1680) which are on display at The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam from 7 October 2016 to 8 January.
Under the title 'Frans Post.Animals in Brazil' the exhibition present 34 unrecognized for centuries artworks by Frans Post from Haarlem-The Netherlands-which were discovered in the Noord-Holland Archief, Haarlem,created by Frans Post in the years 1637-1644 when he worked in Brazil.
The first European artist who painted landscapes and therefore of South Africa but as we know now also animals in Brazil, Frans Post contemporary of Frans Hall traveled in 1636 to Dutch Brazil at the invitation of Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen.
